American Life’s roots trace back to the 1970's when our principals began investing in and developing real estate with their own capital and borrowed funds. Since establishing the firm in 1996, the principals have continued investing selectively in long-term growth opportunities, often deploying investors’ equity and debt alongside the company’s own funds. In addition to growing its investor base, American Life has also grown its team to include experienced professionals in all of the firm’s areas of operation.

Since 1996, more than 450 domestic investors and approximately 1,700 EB-5 green card investors have trusted American Life to manage their real estate investments. We have facilitated over 750 U.S. permanent green cards (via I-829 petition approval) and approximately 1,350 U.S. conditional green cards (via I-526 petition approval) for our EB-5 investors. As one of the first real estate developers to utilize the EB-5 program, we bring our experience working with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to each foreign investor in order to help navigate the sometimes complex immigration challenges and insure successful EB-5 outcomes.
